Es kann jedem mal passieren. Plötzlich von jetzt auf nachher gehen HTML E-Mails nicht mehr auf im Notes Client und die Meldung “Webnavigator …” erscheint.

Just stumble across this on vowe.net – links to Manfred who has the solution.
After a default installation all the mail file traffic uses gzip acros the http task on the Domino 7 Server but all the other nsf files don’t. Well, follow Manfred’s instructions and get them to use gzip as well.

Also IMAP auf dem Domino Server starten ist einfach
load imap
in der Console. Für den mailfile sollte man noch der Anleitung folge leisten. Doch mal ganz kurz gesagt … einfach mal in die Console rein und folgendes machen:
load compact mail/mailfilename.nsf
load convert -e mail/mailfilename.nsf
load convert -h mail/mailfilename.nsf
alles natürlich ohne Gewähr.
